Deepjyoti Bora, M.Sc., ADCA is an emerging researcher, editor, and academic contributor from Assam, India. He holds a Master’s degree in Geography with specialization in Geoinformatics from Cotton University and a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from Nowgong College (Autonomous) . In addition, he earned an Advanced Diploma in Computer Applications (ADCA) with distinction in 2022. His research interests lie at the intersections of climate, culture, GIS applications, sustainability, and socio-economic resilience.
He is proficient in MS Office, ArcGIS, and basic programming skills, and is fluent in Assamese, English, and Hindi. Deepjyoti has actively presented papers at several ICSSR-sponsored national seminars and international conferences, covering topics such as environmental self-reliance, ethnic conflicts, women’s empowerment, sustainable development, and tourism in Assam. He has also participated in research workshops, including training on intellectual property rights, research methodology, and open-source GIS.
As a contributor to academia, he has published book chapters on sustainable development and tourism in Assam, and serves as Editorial Board Reviewer for the Journal of Emerging Technologies and Innovative Research (ISSN: 2349-5162). With a vision to integrate knowledge, culture, and innovation, he continues to contribute meaningfully to academic and research communities.
